My career choice was shaped by the experience of growing up in travel-restricted East Germany. Travel and luxury hotels represented freedom and a certain lifestyle that were utterly desirable to me. I started in hospitality as a trainee in 1996 and my path led me to working in some of the world’s finest hotels. Today, I can’t imagine doing anything else and I am still constantly amazed and thrilled by our fascinating industry and the beautiful people and hotels I get to work with.

Growing up in Hamburg, a maritime city, I was inspired by its seafaring spirit, igniting my passion for exploration and diverse cultures. This innate curiosity led me to pursue a career in hospitality. Despite having explored other industries, my heart remains anchored in luxury hospitality, where storytelling is paramount. At Soul & Story Collection, I take pride in empowering our trade partners in the DACH market to curate distinctive itineraries and experiences at the exceptional hotels we represent.

My journey in the hospitality industry began in the epitome of luxury tourism: Dubai. I started in the world of sales where I’ve had the privilege of absorbing invaluable knowledge and experiences. Working in this environment has allowed me to explore the European and international markets. Each experience and each challenge, is an opportunity to learn and grow in this fascinating hospitality industry and now being part of Soul and Story Collection, marks a milestone in my career.
